GR Yaris TOM'S RACING
The TOYOTA GR Yaris is assembled on a small-batch production line called the GR Factory, which uses a "cell production" system without conveyor belts.
The final assembly is done by Toyota's skilled craftsmen known as "Takumi."
This manufacturing line takes longer than the usual production method, but it reflects Toyota's commitment to quality
Rear bumper duct
This design streamlines the airflow within the rear bumper and gives the car a more WR-car-like appearance.
Front diffuser
The design directs air from beneath the floor to the underside, generating downforce.
Its shape is similar to that of a Super Formula wing.
Exhaust system
"TOMS Barrel"
The TOM'S Barrel exhaust system is designed with engine characteristics and model-specific weak points in mind. Pipe diameter, material, tail design and fitting, and sound quality and volume are determined through numerous repeated tests.
The GRYaris features a centrally positioned "TOMS Barrel" single-tail muffler with an impressive oval finish (TOMS rear under diffuser must be installed at the same time).
Rear under diffuser
The rear under diffuser streamlines the airflow around the rear of the vehicle. Air flowing along the rear bumper is separated from the body by ribs on the outer circumference of the rear under diffuser. This reduces the effect of pulling the vehicle backward. Additionally, the air flowing underneath is guided by four fins to maintain airflow velocity and is pulled towards the rear, further reducing lift. (Requires simultaneous installation with a TOM'S muffler.)
Rear roof wing
By controlling airflow and reducing lift at the rear end, downforce is increased. This results in a more stable ride for the vehicle.
